Master Fundamental Drawing Skills at one of the Top Fine Arts Colleges

Drawing is the most immediate and instinctive form of human visible communication and the earliest evidence of humanity’s need to be expressive. Today, drawing is still as vital and core to the artistic experience and many contemporary fine artists are recognized for their usage of drawing as their primary medium.

Drawing at PrattMWP focuses on drawing as the basis of exploration of mark-making, image, and concept development. PrattMWP students start their drawing educational experience working directly, learning to hone their visual acuity while exploring new techniques and materials. As they move through their class, greater conceptual and experimental exploration is encouraged.

Academics

PrattMWP boasts one of the greatest academic art programs and learning environments in the northeast.
